Term 1 Season Start - February 13, 2012

Happy New Year to you all. We are looking forward to seeing you all back for a new term of athletics soon. The season will kick off again on February 13th.

Dates for the Club Championships will be finalised shortly.

Upcoming Events

Club nights

Club nights are held on Mondays at Mount College from 5.15pm with a 5.30pm start time. Finish times range from 6pm to 6.30pm depending on the age group.

The first club night for 2011/12 is Monday October 31st. The last night for 2011 is December 2011. The second half of the season started back on Monday February 13th.

THE SEASON WILL END ON MARCH 26, 2012. PRIZE GIVING VENUE AND TIME TO BE ANNOUNCED.

CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS

CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS WILL BE HELD ON MARCH 12 AND MARCH 19 2012.
IF THE WEATHER IS WET THE EVENT WILL BE RE-SCHEDULED TO MARCH 26 2012.

EVENTS:
5 & 6 YEAR OLDS - 1 X 60M RUN AND 1 X 80M RUN
7 & 8 YEAR OLDS - 6 EVENTS
RUNNING EVENTS: 60M, 100M 200M
FIELD EVENTS: LONG JUMP, SHOT PUT AND DISCUS

9 - 14 YEAR OLDS
7 EVENTS FOR 9 YEAR OLDS

SAUSAGE SIZZLE - CANCELLED

A decision has been made to cancel the sausage sizzle - due to the forecasted bad weather. Athletics will still be on if the rain has not begun and it will still be a fun night so hopefully we will see you there!

SAUSAGE SIZZLE - DECEMBER 12

The Club will be holding a fund raising sausage sizzle on December 12 - all money raised will help with funding uniforms for club members attending this season's Norht Island Colgate Games. Please support them by buying a sausage and an frozen iced pop.
